FF>> Interestingly, Dynalink sales staff denied it was a rebadged

FF>> Sportster, claiming it was their own "stand alone" product. He

FF>> also said it was NOT flash upgradable, (meaning their web site is

 FF>> lying),

 TP> I haven't seen a Sportster so I won't comment, firmware does

TP> say clearly "USR Sportster" in one of the diagnostic screens.

 FF>> and it supported Rockwell's Class 2 fax, NOT Class 2.0 !!

FF>> Anyone checked this out ??

TP> One more lie, nothing new in computer industry. I'd like to

TP> find out how many used car dealers went into computers?

I know one at least one. I went into a shop a while back adn the sales

man met me at the door. I asked him about Flatbed scanners, and asked

if his were TWAIN compliant. I told me to wait and see the boss, as he

has only been selling computers for 4 days... He was actually a used

car salesman LAST WEEK.

FF>> And their dealer said, like every other Dynalink, it doesn't

FF>> recognize Aust dial and busy tones, but it IS a rebadged Sportster.

TP> Well, I've used Dynalink 1414VQE for more than a year on two

TP> different exchanges and tone detection was perfect. The 1433 I have

TP> now has only one problem - thinks that ringing tone is busy.

FF>> Someone's telling fibs, me thinks.

My US/Canada Courier does this with faxing (winfax) with this latest

(29/4 SDL but it works great here with the 0123 SDL, so I believe that

they didn't do a whole lot of work here to get these Dynalinks Austel

 approved....Its just straight US code.
