Virtual machines are amazing for running BBSes, so much easier and more 
manageable than some random ancient P133 in a closet. 

I run my system on a Windows VM with DOSBOX for most doors - I find it 
more reliable than the NTVDM stuff, but of course it's not appropriate
for everything due to the lack of file locking etc.
