I just couldn't bring myself to power up my old P-133 BBS system running OS/2 for the BBS after I moved (4) years ago as it sat next to my dual-core systems. I was being held back by hardware. I got the idea from stuff we are doing at work, so decided to try the project of taking an image of my old OS/2 machine, and restore it to a OS/2 eCommstation VM, complete with the virtual com I/O drivers by Ray Gwinn. It now runs WAY faster, and I don't have to worry about aging hardware. Problem solved! :) - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.40 Registered* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 261/1304 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
