Flight 160
April 9: The mission is a "go" for tonight

Arianespace has approved the final countdown resumption for Flight
160 following a one-day postponement that was implemented when one of
the mission's two customers requested additional verifications on its
satellite payload.

Liftoff of the Ariane 5G launcher is set for this evening in the same
launch window as before - which opens at 7:49 p.m. and continues
through 8:30 p.m. local time in Kourou, French Guiana.

The Ariane 5 remained in the launch zone overnight, where the vehicle
and its dual satellite payload were maintained in a safe mode.

Flight 160 will carry the 2,950-kg. INSAT 3A satellite, produced by
the Indian Space Research Organisation, and GALAXY XII - a 1,760 kg.-
payload built by Orbital Sciences Corporation for PanAmSat.
