Please don't answer like this.

If someone prefers to get their information in a conversation with a
human, that's perfectly legitimate. You don't have to answer if you
don't feel like it.

They also shouldn't be asked to justify why they're asking. There are
many reasons why this might be the most appropriate way for them to ask,
but in any case, it doesn't matter, and they don't have to provide any
reasin.
