Hi, Holly! I can't recall if I've seen you out here before, so just in
case, welcome aboard! I'm the moderator.
As for plumheads--most of the diet and care info that applies to any of
the ringneck parakeet species will also apply to plumheads. They are
close cousins of the Indian & African ringnecks. A friend here has a
non-producing pair. They like fruit, especially dried figs (they'll
croon and purr as they eat the figs--it's a neat noise to hear!). They
like to be able to fly, and from what I've been told, they like a deep
nestbox (grandfather clock style).

I'd skip the milk, unless you make bird bread and mix the milk into the
batter. Milk spoils fast in a cage, and some birds don't digest it well.
It's better to bake it into something rather than serve it straight.
