Hi Paul!
Looks like you disgree with my statements about alignment of decks.
-> I don't agree about dolby and local techs!
Hmm... what did I say about local techs and Dolby other than if you have
a deck with it, find the tape you like best, take it and the deck to a
local tech to set it up properly.
-> First I don't like dolby.
While I can tend to agree with you on some issues regarding the use of
Dolby, it has made consumer electronic systems much quieter than without
it. My personal philosophy about cassette decks is that they were
designed orignally for dictating machines and should have stayed that
wey,
On professional equipment, you can either run Dolby SR on a reel to reel
at 15IPS or 30IPS without it. Considering that you use twice the amount
ot tape, which at 2" is around $120 a reel wholesale, it can get quite
expensive. The HX pro I've never personally used, but Dolby B made
cassettes possible as a "musical medium"
-> Second I don't know of any one for 50 miles
-> That has proper test equip, like I do!
I'm glad you do. That should give you a pretty good reach for customers
if you know how to market yourself properly.
-> Most techs would want to make money!
See above.. Are you too proud to align tape decks for a fee? What's your
point?
