Hello Bob -

Couldn't resist the indirect reference using Michigan as your
'pointer' eh?

Not to worry Bob. You have always been "BS" and will always be
"BS" to me. ;-)

On a more serious note, many quote algorithms will not do
multiple initials and are limited to only two. This OLR (ATP) I
picked up and modified is capable of 'understanding' both the
"Mc" and "Mac" variations of lastnames. Probably because one of
the people who worked on the code is a "McWilliams"?

I remember William McBrine mentioning that losing the "Mc" was
an annoyance for him long ago but I don't recall in what
context the discussion took place. Most likely it was quoting
done by OLRs.
