There were no terrorists happily using the violent confusion because there

1 Place i.e. Afghanistan could have been fully sterilized by now &
could have had nice new roads, happy people etc ie. the swamp could have
been drained.
The US was warned that what has transpired would transpire. Right now the
UK Mil is wanting to go back to plan A i.e. doi something positive in
Afghanistan. Yes that means leaving Iraqis with guns to dominate those
without but hey that's the world we live in.
SCIRI vs Sadr is going to be bloody but it has to happen anyway unless new
large competant Iraqi army formations can spring out of the desert like
dragons teeth.
