Well, I don't know if sports programs started this fight, Hy.  For all
we can glean from the article, it could have been unrelated to the
sporting event altogether.  For instance, it could have started because
members from two different male or female gangs were there and it
became a turf issue.  We also know that many boys and girls in gangs
are the product of homes with no positive father figure in it.

Perhaps we could just as easily title this thread "Do Fatherless Homes
Inspire Violence?"

Or, we can look at this article as yet another effort on your part to
cause hate and discontent, and try to promote a negative image of
something that more boys than girls engage in.   :)  You know, like
you're trying to deny doing. :)

Just out of curiousity, what does your alleged "life partner" think of
your relentless, time-gulping efforts to churn the waters here?  Does
he resent that you're not spending the time with him, or is he relieved?
