BR>I did a recent mtrbd. upgrade and everything went pretty well until I
BR>tried to reboot the system and re-load my bbs. It flat out wouldn't
BR>work or was very slow in trying to get the OK repsonse to the bbs
BR>status line. After playing around with the mtrbd. CMOS serial
BR>settings(lots of options) for a least an hour, I finally booted in a
BR>"bare bones" mode; it would work. The problem was the fossil driver
BR>X00, the solution was to use BNU instead. For years it was always
BR>stable for me, now this happened, so pass it along, if someone
BR>decides the modem is screwy. The modem would be real slow and looked
lik
BR>e it froze but recovers then freezes again every time the bbs trys to
BR>initilize.
Must be something odd between X00 and that MB. I have not
seen problems with X00 1.53, but then again anything is
possible.
