According to the Wash Post he retired as a Gunnery Sergeant - How did get
1/2 million in debt on the salary of a Gunnery Sergeant ? I would think
that would be a big red flag .

Yet the ABC article says
"At the time of the recruitment, Aragoncillo was working as an
intelligence analyst for Vice President Al Gore. He later told Philippine
television that he was eager to stay in the White House and work for Vice
President Dick Cheney."

This strikes me as strange
