I thought it did that but quite honestly I do not know enough about
firewalls anymore to reply to his message with authority.   I am
running pfSense 1.2.3 right now and it works beautifully.  In fact, I
forget to check on it sometimes but I have no problems with attacks from
anyone at the current time.

I do need to start tinkering with OS/2's built-in firewall (from AIX) and
get that going, just in case...
