Hi Jasen

Yes ... I rang Vodafone to find out if I was subscribed to HSCSD, but
they pointed out that all Vodafone Live uses is GPRS. GPRS has a maximum
baud rate of about 57 thousand. They also pointed out that these speeds
were not available everywhere all the time, and that voice traffic had
permanent priority over data traffic. They were not very helpful about
roaming to another network for data either (chiefly because it didn't seem
to have occurred to them that anybody might want to do that).

Neither was I until I started asking very pointed questions of people
that do know, or are supposed to know. It's really kind of silly to have
these super duper all singing all dancing picture phones if the common
carriers stick in the mud.
Best Wishes,
Bill.
