I'm using it right now. This message comes to you via the Blue Wave door
for Maximus.

In general, Blue Wave is a better format, but it depends somewhat on the
implementation and the underlying message base. Blue Wave doors or built-in
functions are available for many boards, though certainly not for as many
as QWK.

For anyone still developing, if you don't want to implement Blue Wave for
your BBS, then I would urge you to at least consider QWKE. It's a
collection of simple extensions to QWK that give it a lot of BW-like 
functionality.
