As the mother of *three* adult's that were diagnosised with "hyper-
activity" as children, I can tell you that adult ADHD *does* exist.
Each and every symptom that my grandsons have [who are ADHD], my three
adult children have. One, who is 30 years old, still rocks in his sleep.
The oldest still has trouble focusing on things and the younger one
still runs from his problems. And it is not "bad parenting". I have
five other children that do not have any of these symptoms. They were
all raised the same way. The oldest son has been to a doctor who does
feel he is ADHD and he is 35 years old. He is being considered for
medication. None of them are bi-polar [I have foster children that
have this condition so I am familiar with it]. I have also raised 20
foster children so I have been around children of all ages for a very
long time. I also have 27 grandchildren, 7 of which are ADHD. I think
you need to re-evaluate your thinking about adult ADHD.
