about 8 years BEFORE contributing to Gore.  I don't think you are correct
that her religious convictions are Bush's main deal, but that is the main
deal they are using to sell this pig to conservatives.  I'm not buying it
however.   It will never be acceptable should this Miers thing go bad for
any member of the GOP anywhere to say, '"sorry we thought Bush had it
figured out and he got fooled and so did we".  My response to any
failure in how this works out should Miers be approved will be to try a do
my tiny part in seeing to it that the GOP control of all branches of
government and becomes the minority party in this country.
