Hi again, Dan.
Last message we were talking psychological factors involved in
thunderstorms. Although I wouldn't recommend to anyone that they
put themselves in that position, I must admit that it is an
exciting thing to do. Watching the lightning, hearing the
thunder, and lying on the "bunk" feeling the boat bobbing and
heeling in the wind and waves can be a sort of high. I even
found myself a little disappointed (but relieved) when it was
over. Hey, this is sounding a little "kinky"...
Next we talked about the advantage of weathering a storm at
mooring (swinging into the wind) vs tied to a dock. More rain
comes in when tied and unable to swing.
DC==>I guess that one disadvantage of dock moorage... However, can
DC==>you maybe put in extra ventilators that would help move the
DC==>air through when yo have to button it up?
I suppose it's possible. I think, all things considered, I'd rather
swing at anchor than be tied to a dock. There must be ways to make the
Siren's windows open.
Nice chatting with you. TTYL.
