OK, let me try again. Dr. Branson Ritchie is THE vet in the US who is
doing research into Polyoma virus, Psittacine Beak & Feather disease
(PFBD), and Proventricular Dilitation Syndrome (PDS). He works with a
team of equally talented researchers out of the University of Georgia.
He spends a lot of his time trying to raise funds to continue his
research--he talks at seminars, bird clubs and colleges, and writes
articles for magazines occasionally, when his research turns up
something of interest to the avicultural community.
He also runs a 1-900 number for consultations and questions; some of the
money from this helps fund the research. I'll post that info in a
