The pick of the bunch IMO.  Handles all V.n protocols plus HST, and has the
major advantage of flash-ROM upgradeability.  Can be had for ~$500 now too.

There are no Austel approved V.34+ Sportsters, if that's an issue.  Also,
the current model has dodgy BTLZ, just like the Dynalink rebadge.

Presumably you know that these are only available as internal modems ?

I doubt that any modem will give 100% interconnectivity.

Yep, I've owned both V.34+ Couriers and V.34+ Sportsters (the far more
reliable 21.6MHz version), and have had no complaints whatsoever with any
of them.

My Courier works extremely well with ISD calls to the USA, but I can't
comment on Europe at all, as I've never had occasion to call there.
