I went to one some years ago in Minneapolis. The Blue Jays, IIRC.

A very pleasant occasion, quite different from major British sporting
events. Lots of families and nothing but good humour. Beer was 'standard'
or 'premium' - the vendors went up and down the aisles with produce, money
and changed being passed from hand to hand along the rows and not a cent
being lost.

The game was tedious and predictable for the first half hour, and my
colleagues (around nine of them) went off to visit the vendors around the
upper circle. Almost the instant they were out of sight the game turned
around COMPLETELY. The audience had been socializing - chatting about this
and that with complete strangers. Within about a minute the stadium was as
quiet as a museum and tens of thousands of eyes were focussed on the pitch.
Real nail-biting stuff.

Another fun thing was leaving the stadium. It was one of these air
pressure domes, so as you went through the exit you got a shovve in the
back from the air pressure. They have catchers outside in case it gets
you.
