From: "Rich Gauszka" It appears the US and China are large exporters of wheat gluten. http://www.intracen.org/tradstat/sitc3-3d/ep592.htm I haven't seen anything reported on the processing of the wheat - just that the poison aminopterin is banned in the US. I did look in the freezer and noticed that the veggie burgers I have stored there list wheat gluten ( I'm not a vegetarian - just like the burgers ). I may abstain for a while until this mess clears up. I had similar symptoms as you described ( less severe - but lasted about 4 days) early in Feb also. I attributed that to some Thai food I had that day as the chills started about 4 hours after I ate. I haven't been back to that restaurant since.
