OF course it has, and this is why those socialworkers and
psychologists badgering children about whether or not they
were actually molested often result in false accusations.
THough no physical harm is done to the child he/she will
eventually give you the answer that is perceived to be the
right one, so that the badgering will stop and the
"professional" will quit the silly games with the doll and
just let him/her go play.


AGain, examples abound in history and literature.  Although
not "torture" per se, Grisham's "An innocent man" about the
murders in Oklahoma and the false prosecution of the washed
up baseball player point this out.
whether it be torture or any interrogation technique which
puts extreme psychological stresses on the detainee the
results can be unreliable, to say the least.
