Shawn, Okay, if they're not needed, then why do they still exist? What compelling reason is there to try to remain viable? While I understand your thinking, it would seem to me, that Fidonet with all its deadwood conferences, should have died a long time ago. Yet somehow it remains. The obvious next question then is why?
