Well Mark; I get midi files on AOL (America on line) in a text format. I use 
the program MIME64D.EXE to convert them to binary. Not sure if the program 
will put them into ascii mode, never looked. Just looked in my "docs" file 
and there is no mime64d file???? There are other programs that do this but if 
FIDO has a size constrant on message size then this would not work. Now on 
the internet??? It should be possible. My internet address is

I am not a web rider just use Telnet and FTP text modes. Some day maby will 
fight the win programs and upgrade. Currently can't even get the scanner to 
work in 2 programs.
