I don't remember much about that. I was too young at that time to be
much worried about where my folks got the light bulbs, but I suppose
they either got them at the hardware store or the grocery store.

Also don't remember anything about the batteries. Don't remember
what they looked like or anything else. They were probably lead acid
and may well have been specials since 5 batteries of the 6 volt
variety would only equal 30 volts, not 32 and 6 of them would equal
36 and not 32 either.
Somebody around here ought to either know where to come up with
the answers to your question.
