I grew up liking baseball too - a lot. Used to listen to the Montreal Expos
while I did my homework, and I played it regularly.
But that was when the average game was 2 hours 15 minutes long. Now that
it's well over 3 hours, and they've wrecked the pennant races, I'm no
longer interested.
I went to see the Yankeess last season in a very nice corporate box. The
game lasted about 3:30. The game was so glacial that hardly anyone paid
attention to it - we chatted, drank beer and ate.
