Disingenuous.  Detainees at Guantanamo are (all things are relative)
comparatively well treated compared with those that have been 'rendered'.
Let's clear the black prisons first - that's the real problem.

These stories will never die - this business will besmirch the USA's
reputation for centuries.  For an indefinite period to come, the USA has
lost the moral high ground from which to criticize the human rights
breaches of other nations.

Inside the USA, people think they can refresh this with a change of
administration.  Unfortunately, the rest of the world sees the USA as an
entity.
