That is not quite true. Some schools teach that Buddha has become what some
would call a "god". Other schools teach that Buddha was a
perfected man.

It's called the "Trinity".

Apples and Oranges comparisons. You use the Qu'ran to "prove"
that Jesus is not God. However, the biblical Jesus' divinity cannot be
ascertained from the Qu'ran. The God of the Bible is _not_ Allah of the
Qu'ran, nor is the Jesus the of the Bible the 'Isa of the Qu'ran. The rest
of your post becomes meaningless.

Now, let's look at the god of the Bible:

For God so loved the world, that he sent his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believes on him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For
God did not send his Son into the world to judge it, but that the world
through him might be saved. - John 3:16, 17

Those 2 verses tell me that this is a God I want to serve. One of
compassion and love. Was Allah willing to do the same thing? Based on what
I know of the Qu'ran (which is, admittedly, limited), No.
