Sorry, but booting "clean" is the only reasonable way to handle _any_
virus infection, and is particularly important when dealing with a
boot sector virus which will be memory resident should you attempt to
"clean" your system from the hard drive.

If you are unaware you have the virus, then you are unaware you have
the virus. Booting from a boot floppy won't change that.
