subject: Back up

TE> That's an old habit I picked up working on a magazine where a
TE> large part of my job was testing and evaluating software.
TE> Backup, backup and backup again is cheap insurance.
JO> Ah, then you, of all people, would sure see why I love my
JO> CD-ROM recorder so much! Everything is backed up on CD now. The
JO> last time I reformatted the drive, reinstalled Win95, and got
JO> everything just like I like it, I put it on a CD-ROM.
TE> A CD Rom writer? Lordy, it must be nice to have all that
TE> disposable income. What have you been doing, saving up all
TE> your Okra money?
Yep, that's it. I've been saying for over a year I'd buy one when
they reached under $400 and the blanks were reasonable. You can get a
writer as low as around $300 now and the blanks for a buck each if
you buy a bundle of 50. And I didn't even know I was going to be able
to copy my favorite music CD's and make my own "Best of..." CD's!
That was a real bonus! All that, and not eat okra! What a deal! ;)
TE> Bye the way, I finally got on the net and dropped by the
TE> Guardian Angel site. Ye Gads girl, you're going to give some
TE> old guy, like me for instance, a heart attack!
Oh, you say the sweetest things! And you are far too young at heart
to *ever* be old. Still, I think maybe the next time the Sub's going
to be off the Left Coast for man-euvers the Subbettes should stop
by and give you a physical...just to be on the safe side, of course.
