subject: Removing line breaks

CC> I often have an ASCII text file which I want to import into a
CC> word-processor, or into TSE Jr, and I want to easily remove the line
CC> breaks, but not the paragrpah breaks.
CC> How can that be done?
The way I've been doing it is using the Find/Replace command to search
for the line break symbol (a single music note. Paragraph break is a double
music note), and in the "replace with" box, just press the Del key. I select
Global and No prompts options and it deletes the line breaks. I have saved a
macro of this with the Alt-M macro command, so all I need to do now is type:
q [filename] -eremovlb.mac and the file is loaded into Qedit with the
line breaks removed.
To get the single music note into the "search for" box, hold down your Alt
key and while holding it, type 013 on your _numerical_ keypad. Then release
the Alt key and the '' will be displayed in the box. If you need to remove
some other high-bit character, pull down the ASCII chart from the 'Other'
pull down menu and look up the Dec value.
