ROFL! But Gary does have a point, with the 1/2 dozen or so questionable
Republicans out there, a better nominee might have gone down. Heck, this
one might and if she does, they're going to have to have their fight and
dump the filibuster once and for all.

If the abovementioned Rinos vote no on Miers, they'll have less room to
wimp out on the filibuster fight for the next nominee; that wimp factor
likely being the very thing that brought us Miers in the first place.
