| subject: | IE on XP window-size problem |
I have a friend who is having some trouble with IE. They let their grandkid use the PC, and now the IE window is no longer sized properly for the desktop. One thing I have yet to ascertain is whether or not it is a case of having a sliding bar at the bottom of the window, or if the Max/Min/Close buttons have been moved off the right-side of the screen (i.e. IE thinks the monitor is wider than it is). I am thinking if it is the former problem, they might try right-clicking the icon in the upper-left corner of the window, and choosing "Restore." However, I am not sure how to fix it if the whole window has gotten too big for the screen. They don't seem to be having any problems with any other applications.
