SC>> I was 21 when I had my first and don't regret it for a minute. We SC>> had fun together while they were growing up. One of my second SC>> daughter's friends always complained that her parents were too SC>> old (not old fashioned) and she wished they were younger so they SC>> could do more together. DC> It depends on the parents, I think. My Mom went sledding with my DC> kids. She was about 70 at the time. My kids' younger grandparents DC> wouldn't dream of doing that. And, in fact, they were there DC> watching my Mom do that. I think that older people have become more active in the last few decades. At one time there were self/society-made limits on what you should do as you got older. That even went for clothes you wore. I don't see that much anymore and it is a very good thing. Nobody would get away with telling me that I'm too old to do much of anything as long as my health allows me to do it.
