A dolphin is about the same size except the sail is a gaf rig sail vs
a fixed sail.  The mast of the Dolphin is probably 4 to 5 feet shorter
than the Laser.

I don't think a cooler would fit on my laser very well.  I keep trying
to think of ways to take things like with me but I tend to go over
pretty easily still and most things hit the drink real fast so I just
take a small jug of water that I can tie to the mast.   I really
had not intended to go sailing for 9 hours that day.  I don't think
I will do that again on purpose anyway.  :)
My friend just bought a 22' Merit which has a motor and a cabin,  now
we can go in style!  At least it will feel like in style after the 
laser and dolphin!
