Hi JEFF.
JB> Hi, Anthony. Quoting your message to All:
AH> I Have many files with autopen macros from Word6 that I am using in
AH> Word7. When I open them I get a screen that says: "There might be a
AH> virus". I turned off virus protection to stop the screen. Is there a
AH> way to "clean" the files so I do not get the warning message so I can
AH> turn back on the virus protection?
JB> Get the latest version of the F-Prot anti-virus program (archive
JB> name FP-225.ZIP). It contains a Word/Excel virus scanner, called
JB> F-MACROW, which should disinfect your macros.
Or, have your sysop FREQ VDOCZIP.EXE from the address in the origin
line. It'll kill about 90 Word macro viruses, including Meat_Grinder.
