   QUESTION TO DA-88 USERS...
A client of mine had a bad thing happen this week-end. During some
dubs, he lost 6 seconds on 8 track when the master DA-88 (he used two
and was dubbing on the other deck, while using the remote...) just
jammed, emitted (audio) some digital garbage and stop with all error
lights on... When reset, the machine would go back past the 'wrecked'
portion without having a Rewind headstart (FF for about 30 seconds and
  then RW back...)
I personnaly find this kind of weird, exchange the machine for
another one, tested the machine at the shop (everything OK),... I'am
sending the machine to the service center anyway (still under warranty
and anyway it needs to be servo-upgraded...)
Has anyone seen or heard of this?? Thanks in advance.
