BR->Didn't IBM force the pc std. which carried with it the bane
->of DOS? Oh yeah, I see it all now.
Actually IBM ended up contracting Microsoft for MS-DOS for IBM
computers. IBM did not have an OS until they came out with PC-DOS...
which was never widely accepted.
BR->I have seen some price breaks, but not necessarily in any big way and I

Sorry... but your really missing the boat. IBM offers OS/2 at $90-$140
and MS offers NT, it's equal, at $300+. You can't seriously compare
Win95 to anything IBM puts out. I have used OS/2 for about 5 years and
now have switched to NT. They are both as powerfull but NT is more
widely accepted. Still, the cost is not even close.
