Since Linux is no longer installed, the simplest thing to do is to boot from the XP install CD and choose the first repair option presented. That will take you into the Recovery Console where you can simply type in: fixmbr which will redo the mbr. The machine can then be rebooted directly into the XP menu. If this doesn't work, go back into the Recovery Console again and try: fixboot http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/r_c_cmds.htm -- Jeff Guerdat If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: FidoTel & QWK on the Web! www.fidotel.com (1:124/311) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 34/999 53/558 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 222/2 226/0 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 320/119 393/68 396/45 633/104 260 267 640/954 690/682 734 SEEN-BY: 712/0 313 848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 303 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 124/311 140/1 261/38 633/260 712/848 633/267 |
