Since Linux is no longer installed, the simplest thing to do is to boot 
from the XP install CD and choose the first repair option presented. 
That will take you into the Recovery Console where you can simply type in:

fixmbr

which will redo the mbr.  The machine can then be rebooted directly into 
the XP menu.  If this doesn't work, go back into the Recovery Console 
again and try:

fixboot
