 Dat's the one.  I've got 2 or 3 of them floating around here, as well
as one or two 5894's.  What can I say, transistors may be easier to work
with, but for some things, if they don't glow it don't go. :)

 They seem to be triodes.  They look kinda like a smaller version of a 
3-500Z without the fins on the plate.  Or mabye more like a 5868 just it
has 7 pins and the plate terminal on top.
