i'm suspecting that it might have been in reference to the above book(s) i
mention... IIRC, they were Orson Scott Card's "EMPIRE" (2006) and
"HIDDEN EMPIRE" (2009)... both are a good read and worth the time
;)

one might also be interested in OSC's "Ender Saga" which are
