Speaking as a father of grownup daughters, who somehow managed to retain
his attraction to women amazingly enough, I can understand both
percpectives on this particular issue.  Add to that, only sisters (two) and
a marriage into a family of six females (no sons), and I believe that
afforded some further insight into this particular subject.

Having said the above;  females can definetly talk the locker talk, and if
men knew what they say when they talk the locker talk, they might just be a
lot more gun shy, sort of speak.
