Um, as a matter of fact, i sometimes have the cb radio AND scanner on at the 
smae time...and both can be receiving two different freqs at the same 
time...i could be listening to the scanner, and key up on the cb mike and as 
far as i can tell, it isn't causing any damage, it just 'mutes' the scanner 
while i key up...and my friends i talk to on the cb said they noticed no 
difference in my modulation or whatever with the scanner on the same attena,e 
ven when it's on at teh same time...the splitter, again as far as i can tell, 
doesn't decrease scanner sensitivity...
i use my scanner everywhere i go, and after doing what i did to it with the 
cb and all, i notice NO changes in scanning operations whatsoever...it works 
just as it did before i did this...you may wanna try doin' this...if you find 
a better way of doing this, lemme know :>
