DC>> That depends on the guy and the relationship of course. SC>> The parent's relationship has nothing to do with the SC>> non-custodial parent paying or not paying child support. Yes, I SC>> know quite a few women who pay child support and even alimony to SC>> the men. DC> I know of only one. And, she only made one payment and nothing DC> else since. I know of several women who pay child support just around here. When my nephew's ex threw him out to move her boyfriend in (no kids) he filed for alimony since she made more money than him and got it. The other woman I know from Canada had to pay her ex alimony for 5 years when *he* left her for another woman and even moved out of the country to Florida. They didn't have kids either. I don't remember how long my nephew was going to get his alimony. There are quite a few fathers that have custody of their kids nowadays. I would think it is most likely because of drugs or child abuse by the mom. Or maybe the mother just doesn't want the kids. I know a few of them too. Those women do have to pay child support. SC>> Now, that isn't right. Then again, I remember a incident where a SC>> guy paid 4 friends to go to court to say they were sleeping with SC>> his girlfriend at the same time she conceived. They didn't have SC>> paternity tests and DNA back then. He got out of paying the child SC>> support. And NO, she wasn't sleeping with anyone else. DC> Then again, even a blood test could at least rule out someone. They must not have been ordering them back then so much. DC> And, I've heard of a similar case in which the group was ordered to DC> make payments. I wish they would have done that for her and I'll bet those guys would have given back the money they were paid to testify against her not wanting to support a kid that wasn't their's for 18 years.
