No, "the intelligence" said a wide range of conflicting things,
as it always does. Bush & co. here, Blair & co. in the UK,
cherry-picked that segment of the intelligence that suited their
purposes... and proved to be wrong.

You keep saying "Well, other countries' intelligence told them the
same thing, so don't blame Bush." I seem to recall episodes at the UN
in the winter of 2003 which showed pretty clearly that other countries
weren't as certain as Bush was....
