A 'friend' would not try to involve me in a flame-war that I do
not want. I can't see that as 'friendship' Bill. When you asked
me to stop the thread I did as I promised I would the same as I
would do for any friend. When I ask to to stop trying to start
it back up again after your third attempt I get "keep a civil
tongue in your head"?

My friends in the real world don't make remarks like this. Now
I think you are confused about the meaning of 'friend'.
