Thanks for the reply. Hope ya'll are enjoying some of the warm air up there 
in the north country. It is in the 70's and absolutely beautiful down here in 
Alabama today. I was in scouts as a kid, and was fortunate enough to have had 
a father that pushed me on to get my Eagle, as well as Arrow of Light, God & 
Country, etc.  Now I have two sons in scouting and I am trying to carry on 
the family's scouting tradition. I did not realize how much getting my Eagle 
meant to me until I was much older. Anyway, there are some merit badges 
around these days which are neat. I wish they had been around when I was a 
kid. I really believe that some of our merit badges, such as cooking, 
wilderness survival, orienteering, and pioneering, should be on the required 
list for Eagle. They are what Scouting is all about to me. Oh well, just an 
opinion. Hope to hear from you again Paul...Take care.
