I would love to get my hands on a book telling me how to write GUI
programs for Linux. The first problem is that I don't have a clue about
where to start. I've read that x replaced w, for whatever that's worth
(I don't have a clue). I've also heard that there are GUI frameworks
available for Linux, but don't even know any names (much less
locations/sites).

Can anybody tell me anything?
