I'm confused as to which 33.6 modem to select to replace my internal 14.4.
The Supra (Diamond) Web Site lists several 33.6 modems offering increasingly
capabilities, Data, FAX & Voice. I like some of features of the external
models but, wouldn't one have to have some sort of card in the computer to
use one of these? And does this card come with the modem?
From the list from the Web site, I'm thinking my only choice would be the
9054006-001 SupraExpress 336i Plug and Play (internal).
My immediate requirements are fast data and FAX transmission.
But might go to the SupraSonic if my Compaq Presario 866 Pentium Overdrive 83
(was a 486DX2-66) and my bios chip was upgraded and have plenty of 32 megs of
RAM. Also, I'm running Windows95, ProcomPlus for Windows v3.0 and MS Internet
Explorer.
